Selection technique: The needle selection is assured by new design devices. Each feeder has its own station, fitted on the machine just below the cylinder cam boxes. Each device has 39 selection levels, with individual control jacks that swing to raise the needle.

The device consists of a fixed support and an interchangeable cartridge, where the selector jacks are inserted depending on the pattern chosen for the fabric. The cartridge can be easily changed.
The selector jacks can be loaded in the supporting cartridge by means of an electromechanical machine with two levers (miss and tuck), while the pattern is read.
